Dr. Gobbler produces a high quality organic compost from turkey litter.  The feed stock is known and no treated wood or green waste products are added to the starting material.  Untreated pine wood shavings along with rice hulls are the only materials added to the starting material.  These materials are the same materials that are installed in the barns prior to the birds going into the barn.

The litter is then removed after the birds come out and is piled in large windrows from 100 to 300 feet long and 20 feet wide.  Water is then added until the moisture content reaches 45 to 50%.  Temps and moistures are recorded.  The process takes between 6 to 8 months to complete.  After the product has completed the time and temperature requirements, the product sirs for 30 to 60 days to cure.

Material is consistent due to the feedstock not changing. (N) 1.5/ (P) 1.5/ (K) 1.0.  After processing samples are tested through a STA approved lab to insure proper quality.  Material is then screened and bagged or in the case of bulk shipped direct to the nursery in 40 to 70 cu yd loads.
